We have need for volunteers in multiple of different roles at Hope. Here are a few of them.
Welcome and greet patients/families seeking care using compassionate communication to provide best resources to meet their needs.
Working with the walk- in coordinator to sort and triage patients seeking care without appointments. Urgent care and treatment along with resource allocation.
Preparing records, labs, medical information for patient
Visits for caregivers.
Assists with procedures and direct patient care.
Measurements, documentation and reporting abnormal measurements to caregiver team.
Working with the patient assistant coordinator to help patients obtain medications from pharmaceutical companies such as insulin.
Working alongside caregivers to accurately document encounters professionally. Most positions require Spanish interpretation.
Answers phone calls, makes appointments, sorts needs of callers.
Directing patients to what the next steps are with excellent written and verbal communication tools.
Working with Lab team to obtain specimens needed for accurate evaluation. Includes documentation, communication and education.
Professionally and accurately interprets for the Hope team to understand patient ‘s needs.
Keeping clinic stocked in each department with communication of needs.
Management of the flow of patients to the providers. Sorting with updates to patients and providers of the needs of the patients.
Joins hands with diabetic educators, registered dieticians, nurses, and exercise teams to help patients understand their health care plan.
Helps receive and sort donations with documentation and distribution.
helps patients with process of care as well as compassionate active listening to their needs — clarifies for the patient to minimize stress and anxiety.
